The perfectly matched engine, transmission and drive - characterized by twin counter-rotating propellers - create an unmatched experience on the water. The robust engine was built to last with a rigid cast iron cylinder block and cylinder head, offering reliability and long-term durability. The entire package is integrated from helm to prop through the Electronic Vessel Control (EVC) with the option for experience-enhancing add-on features such as Glass Cockpit, cruise control and more.
Features may include:
- Totally integrated system – from helm to propeller
- Solid and robust engine design
- Forward-facing, twin counter-rotating propellers
- Integrated exhaust system Twin rubber suspension and sealing rings plus soft-suspended engines
- Patented, counter-rotating propellers
- Electronic steering, enabling features such as joystick maneuvering
- Hydraulic gear shift system with Low-speed mode as standard
- Nickel-bronze-aluminum alloy and stainless steel in all main underwater components
- Complete range of propellers available, covering boat speeds from 19 to 42 knots
- To deliver 1000hp on demand, the D13 engine and IPS30 pod are designed and built to withstand immense forces. Upgraded pistons, camshafts, injectors and cooling systems all play their part to ensure a compact, robust and highly efficient package that is easy to install and maintain.
- Distinctive, forward-facing, twin counter-rotating propellers and individually steerable pods contribute to low fuel consumption and emissions data. The engine and pod forms a compact, robust and highly efficient package that increases efficiency by 30% compared to similarly powered rivals.
